How old do you have to be to acquire these things?

Get a Drivers permit and Licence. Get a gun licence and a licence to carry in public because I might work for highway patrol. To drink beer even though I probably will never want to do. Become a realestate agent or cop or architect how many years of college for that. And all of this in the state of NORTH CAROLINA.
Drivers permit 16
Full Licence 18
gun 21
work for highway partrol 21
drink beer 21
real estate might be 18 if not it’s 21
cop 21
architect is a four year degree
basically life starts at 21
The poster above is 100% right, except a permit to carry in public is pretty tough to get, and you’d need a much stronger justification than “I might want to work for highway patrol.” So being old enough alone won’t get you there.
Go to College and get a four year degree, then ask.
