v      For making earrings two peacock feathers of fairly small size are needed.

v      We can purchase some metal wire, earring hooks, crimp beads that can compliment with the color of peacock feathers like green, gold or jewel toned blue will also accolade good and remember that diameter of beads should be at least four millimeters.

v      Trim both the feathers about half inch or so from the eye and be careful the shape of feather is not lost.

v      Make a cut at the stem of the feather and take a piece of wire about one foot long. Put the wire around the stem where the cut was made

v      Now slip down the beads into the wire with the help of crimping pliers and take care that space should be left to attach the earring hooks.

v      Now attach the earring hooks at the bottom of the wire loop and coil it tightly at the base and now beaded peacock feathers are ready to wear.

Apart from making beautiful  earrings these feathers are versatile  and can be used for making other useful things like feather dusters which can be used for cleaning purposes, decorative vases, Halloween costumes, adorning dresses, decorative  masks and much more one can think of.
